Sheilagh Ethne O’Leary is an established award-winning art photographer born and living in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Her work has been exhibited/collected internationally and appears in numerous art journals and publications. Sheilagh received her art education through mentorship with Manfred Buchheit, Concordia University’s Faculty of Fine Art, Banff Centre for the Arts, and the Rockport Maine Workshops.
Her passion for people drives her to produce striking collections of Black and White nudes and portraits with an intimate exploration of the subject and their relationship to the Newfoundland landscape. Her most recent project published by Boulder Publications is an art book titled Human Natured: Newfoundland Nudes, which explores almost two decades of her B&W nude photography.
