Hillary for President I just wanted to express my loyalty and support to you, and my gratitude and pride for the campaign you have run. You are truly an inspiration - and I hope that your journey does not end here.

We need strong, dedicated, experienced people leading this country - and you are by and far the best person (regardless of gender) to do it. You are a fighter and I know that you will continue to do all you can to fight for our country.

I urge you: Please tell your supporters that - despite Obama's victory speech last night - it does not end here. I think we all need a bit of hope that you can and will be a large part of a greater tomorrow.

Personally, I had nightmares last night of the two potential candidates for the office of president: Obama and McCain. Neither candidate, I believe, is suitable for the job; despite my long-time loyalty to the Democratic party, you are and always have been the only choice that I can support. Unfortunately, my guess is that many of your supporters are now feeling the same way: Where do we go from here? Because right now the only solution I can see is, come November, if the two names on the ballot are Obama and McCain... well, mine will be a write-in selection for "Hillary Clinton."

Please do keep us posted on your efforts. I enjoy reading the e-mails and blog entries from you and your campaign staff. And please know that all of us - your loyal supporters - are completely supportive of wherever your journey leads you next.

Here's to your continued efforts; let's not give up yet!

In gratitude and sisterhood,

Carly Finseth

I love Hillary and I am hella sad about this. She's had my support from day one and I am so proud of her and grateful for what she's accomplished...
...but we cannot afford to be throwing our votes away in November. At the risk of sounding like a single-issue voter, there's just too much at stake for reproductive rights. Supporting one woman is not a justifiable excuse for screwing the rest of them. McCain has a zero percent rating from both NARAL and Planned Parenthood - Obama and Clinton both have 100%. Everyone's talking the big talk of sour grapes and chucking their vote, but at the end of the day, we will pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and cast a vote for Obama (with hope for Hillary in the future), because NONE of us can afford four more years of republican, war mongering, woman hating bullshit. Enough is enough.
