Have you ever had an experience that was so heartbreaking and discouraging that you just wanted to throw up your hands and give up?Are there people around you who try to hold you down with their words of negativity?Well I'm here to tell you in this article to push it all in the past, move on with your life, and claim the success that is your inherit right!
I was 20-years old and in technical school studying to become a medical assistant. I had so many decisions to make about my life, but at the same time I was grieving the loss of my Godmother, the only true mother that I knew. One day I was horsing around with my little sister. The play got a little too rough and I accidentally hit her. She ran to tell my big sister, and my big sister and I got into a big argument. At the end of the argument, she got in my face and said, "You will never, ever prosper. You will never amount to anything."
Those words echoed through my mind for so many years. And deep inside, whenever difficulties came up in my life, those words would come rushing back to my mind, and there were so many times when I was tempted to totally give in to those words and say, "She was right; who do I think I am to make a difference?"
If it wasn't for the help of my husband and my closest friends, and me continuing to tell myself that those words were just unenlightened opinions, I think I would have given up. My loved ones kept encouraging me, and they helped me to continuously see in faith in what wasn't reality yet.
You don't have to physically get revenge on those who hurt you with their words and actions. You can utterly defeat them over time without laying one finger on them. Here's the foundation for succeeding and overcoming their negative views:
Resilience: The ability to keep on going even when the words of discouragement and ridicule are weighing you down. There are times when you won't see any hint of progress, yet all you see and hear are those who are against you. Even when you don't think you can do anything else, stand strong, and don't let the words penetrate your inner being. Keep going in the midst of those storms.
Positive Attitude: They say that you can't succeed; or your idea is ridiculous; or you'll never be as good as (fill in the blank). In the midst of this, mentally (even verbally, if you choose) counteract with the positive: I can succeed; I will be successful at whatever I try; my idea is unique and it will benefit the world in unique ways; I am the best at what I do, and no one can touch the genius of my individuality. The key to positive affirmations is knowing they are true for you and putting them into action in your life. The more you fill your mind with positive, affirming words, the less power negative words will have, and the more motivation you will build up to see your goals materialize.
Eye of the Tiger: while pursuing your goals, even when the nay-sayers are not around, the process of going through the steps can be trying. Keep in mind that every thing worth having will have it's fight to overcome-so be prepared to fight the obstacles, step by step, knowing that every step brings you closer to what you seek.
Accomplishment: With the gifts and talents deposited into you, visualize and create many accomplishments. Often from your main goal comes mini-accomplishments along the way. Treasure these, remember what you have learned from these, and use them as pieces of the puzzle to achieve your ultimate goals. Most of all, use what you have learned to help the next person who will come your way with the same issues to conquer. You don't know when or where it will happen, but rest assured, someone will come along who can use your guidance and encouragement.
Living On Your Own Terms: It is your life, your dreams, your decisions. Do not allow again anyone to live her life through you, or selfishly control your actions to serve him. Always do what is right for you.

It is said that observing metaphysical art induces lucidity and reduces stress. Many people who view my artwork comment that they can deeply connect to what they see, even though they do not necessarily understand it. In others it simply evokes positive and uplifting feelings as they are influenced by it subconsciously. Read More...
