Image Book news: Jennifer Colt, author of the McAfee Twins Novels starring fiesty feminist warriors Terry and Kerry McAfee, needs your help! Her latest book, The Hellraiser of the Hollywood Hills, is a contender in the Amazon.com Breakthrough Novel Awards. Out of 5,000 manuscripts from 20 countries, hers has been chosen by Publishers Weekly and Penguin Books as a Top 10 finalist!

Why You Care

Not only is Jennifer an empowered writer who pens feminist characters, as well as a friend of Empowerment4Women (see our June 2007 interview), she's also been orphaned from her previous publisher. (Oh, and did we mention that her books are sassy and hilarious mystery satires?) The timing of this contest couldn't be better; she needs you!

How to Help

The book with the most 5-star Amazon reviews from the public wins a publishing contract with Penguin. Click here to cast your vote!

Thanks for your support as always, Carly!

Just wanted to mention that people who review Hellraiser on Amazon can be entered into a drawing to receive one of ten hardcover, first edition copies of The Con Artist of Catalina Island!

Details on my website.

All the best,

Jennifer
