Get Down, get funky with Bonnie and her amazing friends! Slide Bonnie Slide!

This CD and bonus DVD set (tremendous value) is all Bonnie Raitt and her smoky, raspy rock signature sound. The icing and cherry on the top come in the form of the incredible talents she brings on stage with her such artists as Keb Mo', Alison Krauss, Ben Harper, Jon Cleary, and Norah Jones. It almost goes without saying that Bonnie plus these widely known and ultra talented quantities equal a performance that rocks the stage.

The obvious mutual admiration and talent in the performance (as in many of Raitt's collaborative projects) is also a powerful allure. For me, this CD/DVD set not only rocked my body (this is totally a new workout favorite) but it also engages the emotions.

"You're just into looking after #1 / Only thing you worry 'bout is having your fun / First sign of trouble and it's understood / You'll get going while the going's still good / You're so very unnecessarily mercenary"

responses we might want in conversing with a true friend like: "O! My! God!" "O no, are you serious?" "O I could just cry!"..."Yummy! Now that's what a relationship ought to be like!" You get the drift. This is music that doesn't need to ask twice to be revisited again and again.

If you like rock/blues/country you'll want to give this CD priority on your "to be previewed" shopping list. If you are a Bonnie fan, what are you waiting for? Get down, get funky and for goodness sake get to buying this classic CD/DVD set! Image

Orna Ben-Shoshan: Artist Statement

As an auto-deduct artist, my work is not attached to any particular location or timeframe, and it’s free from any familiar set of rules. My creation is a medium of transferring knowledge about things that are beyond linear time and thinking.

It is said that observing metaphysical art induces lucidity and reduces stress. Many people who view my artwork comment that they can deeply connect to what they see, even though they do not necessarily understand it. In others it simply evokes positive and uplifting feelings as they are influenced by it subconsciously.
