			<description>Thank you for this.  I recently reached out to one of my cousins, a teenage girl, for this very reason.  I can't hang out with her since we live across the country from each other but we email when we can and I know she really looks up to me.  I just try to be myself as much as possible and not treat her like she's too dumb or young to understand, since I hated it myself when people would do that when I was her age.  Still, it's reassuring to hear it from someone else, too.  I don't suppose you have any recommendations on teenage BOYS (I've got one of those in my life too, complete with a very sexist parent, and I'm often at a loss)? - waxghost</description>
